A Hundred Millionth Of A Second by LockeRobster A Hundred Millionth Of A Second by LockeRobster
Alright class take your seats, it's time for science lesson from a Deviant who didn't even do science in scbool!

In particle physics there is a family of sub-atomic particles known as Hadrons. This family consists of 2 main sub-groups of particles known as Baryons and Mesons. Baryons such as Protons are known for there stability in nature where as Mesons such as Pions are known for their vast instability and are quite rare in nature lasting only one millionth of a microsecond (hundred millionth of a second).

In this scene we see Spark Hadron experimenting with Meson particles in his lab. What be doesn't know just yet is that at 32.82318008 seconds his experiment has inadvertently created an unstable mesonic opposite of himself; A pony named Anomaly. What has science and magic done!

This is an old request finally completed for :iconguyperson13: of his OC Spark Hadron. This piece took ages to make but I gotta say I'm happy with how it turned out, hope you like it too mate!

Awesome! I only have one nitpick; electrons are not baryons. Baryons are made of three quarks and are much more massive than electrons, which are not quark based matter, and are instead leptons. You were right about protons being baryons though!

Ahhh, thanks for letting me know! My only knowledge of particle physics is gleamed from documentaries.

What about Neutrons, are they a form of bayron?

Yup! A neutron is made up two down quarks and one up quark. This makes it a baryon because it has 3 quarks total. All particles made from quarks are hadrons.

I forgot to mention everyone; theres an easter egg in the timestamp. See if you can get it!

Jeez, man, this is so good that I had to call up Webster and scold them for not having enough words in the dictionary that would be worthy to show how much I LOVE THIS.  Thanks a ton, man!  Absolutely blown away :).

I'm really glad you love it! I want to get this one scanned properly and reupload at a later date. I also thought it would be cool to make a gif of this starting at 25 seconds and ending at 35 seconds then I realised I would have to redraw the timestamp several hundred million times :S (or at least 10 times).

That gif idea sounds pretty awesome, but I don't want you to feel you need to do any extra work, considering this was already quite the undertaking.

Have I ever told you how good you are at drawing ponies? You gotta teach me!
